Hello and welcome! I am Doniece Douglas, LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), actively licensed in the state of Texas. As a seasoned Social Worker, I have over 17yrs of experience, which includes conducting extensive mental health assessments and evaluations.
At this time, I am not providing therapy services. However, I am available to offer educational trainings and presentations, professional consultations and mental health evaluations. I’m trained to provide comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments that assist individuals and organizations in identifying emotional, behavioral and psychological needs with compassion and clinical precision. These services are ideal for individuals seeking clarity around trauma, dissociative symptoms, substance use, anger management or other related mental health concerns. The services that I offer, support a wide range of partners, including government health and human services agencies, hospital and healthcare systems, school districts and community-based programs.

I am equipped to provide confidential, in-depth and professionally written reports in support of USCIS (US Citizenship and Immigration Services) applications. I provide compassionate, client-centered immigration evaluations, conducted with care and expertise.
I have vast experience with writing humanitarian letters for families, with loved ones who are under going medical emergencies and need to provide a letter to the consulate for temporary visas. Many of the individuals that I've worked with, are victims of human trafficking, various crimes, trauma and/or domestic violence.
By completing thorough mental health evaluations, I formulate reports that can be submitted to you and your attorney to assist with your case. The different types of evaluations that I provide are listed below.

Extreme Hardship/
Cancellation of Removal
An immigration hardship waiver is a form of relief in US immigration law that allows certain individuals facing deportation to remain in the United States if they can demonstrate that their removal would cause exceptional and extremely unusual hardship to a qualifying relative who is a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.
U Visa
The U visa aims to protect immigrant crime victims and encourage cooperation with law enforcement. To qualify, applicants must demonstrate they have been a victim of a qualifying criminal activity, have suffered substantial physical or mental abuse, possess information about the crime, and have been, are, or will be helpful to law enforcement.
Asylum
An asylum seeker is an individual who has left their home country and is seeking international protection in another country, specifically because they fear persecution or harm. They have not yet been legally recognized as a refugee by the country they are seeking refuge in. Essentially, they are requesting asylum, which is the protection granted to refugees.
T Visa
A T visa is a special type of visa designed to protect victims of human trafficking. It allows eligible individuals to remain in the United States temporarily and work, while also offering a pathway to lawful permanent residency. The T visa is intended for those who have been subjected to "severe forms of trafficking in persons" and who cooperate with law enforcement in the investigation or prosecution of the trafficking case.
Violence Against Women Act (VAWA)
The Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) is a U.S. federal law designed to protect victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. It provides various legal protections and resources, including housing assistance, legal assistance, and access to victim services.
